SMALL GROUPS Small groups are about gathering with others for encouragement as you grow in your relationship with Christ. It's a safe place to ask questions, build friendships, experience mutual care and support, use your spiritual gifts, and influence the world around you! Zion is becoming a "church of small groups" -- meaning that most ministry happens through the vehicle of small groups. This is so every person can have the opportunity to be cared for as they become a growing disciple. There are many types of groups which offer a place for developing friendships and faith! Most are ongoing groups -- although there are also short-term opportunities. Nearly 700 people, from 3 year olds to Seniors, are meeting regularly in Zion's small groups. Currently there are over 40 adult (We Care) groups to choose from, and there are new groups starting all the time. |
