"Being a part of a Missional Community Group at Zion has truly been transformational in my life and faith...I have learned so much from being a member of this group and have been able to be vulnerable and share about life’s struggles in a way I never have before." -Kaylah

Missional COmmunity Group (MCG)

In addition to walking through God’s Word together weekly on Sunday, we utilize a sermon discussion guide to help our discipleship groups process what we learned and apply it to our lives throughout the week.

Click below to access the weekly Sermon Discussion Guide or pick up a copy in the Dock Lobby. The guides can be updated as early as Thursdays. If your group meets after that, find the correct guide under "Last Week's" link.

starts january 25th • 5:30-7pm

Join us Wednesdays starting in January for Alpha!

Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life and God. Alpha is a safe place where people can ask questions, express doubts, and explore faith. Designed around dinner, a video talk, and conversation, Alpha is a welcoming environment for those seeking or doubting Christian faith. This is a low-key course designed specifically to make everyone feel comfortable!

We'll meet at Zion on 4th during ZKids. We'd love to have your children participate in ZKids while we meet for Alpha. Register your kids here: Children's Ministry Registration - ZKids - Zion Lutheran Church (

For those attending Alpha, please use the north doors across from the library (avoiding the main doors will ensure kid's ministry programming is safe and efficient!). Head down the stairs to room B9. We'll meet you there!

seek night

friday, march 3rd • 7pm • the dock

Join us for a night of worship, God's Word, and prayer. This is a night to seek the face of God: to seek His will for our lives, to offer Him praise and glory, to come together as the body of Christ, and to just connect with a God who loves us and is actively pursuing us. This is different than a Sunday morning service: the worship will be acoustic and spontaneous and there will be a time of sharing and prayer. You don't want to miss this powerful evening!
