Missionary Update: Ben Wagner Summer 2026

As the Live-In House Manager at Josiah's Place, I have the privilege of walking alongside men as they pursue lasting freedom from addiction through a Christ-centered recovery program. Having once walked this same path as a resident of Josiah's Place, it is an incredible blessing to now serve in this role and invest in the lives of the men who call this house home. Serving in this capacity is one of the greatest privileges of my life, allowing me to give back to a ministry that helped transform my own life while serving others with the same love, grace, and truth that was shown to me. Living within the home allows me to be a consistent source of encouragement, accountability, and support while building genuine relationships with each resident. I strive to create an environment where every man feels valued, challenged, and equipped to grow in his sobriety, deepen his faith in Jesus Christ, and develop the character and life skills necessary for long-term success.

My responsibility is to lead by example. I believe the strongest leadership comes from living out the same principles expected of every resident—demonstrating integrity, humility, personal responsibility, and a wholehearted commitment to Christ. My desire is to mentor each man to the best of my ability, helping him recognize his God-given value and potential while encouraging him to fully invest in his recovery. The structure, expectations, and accountability within Josiah's Place are not simply rules to follow; they exist to provide a safe foundation where healing can take place and where lasting transformation is possible. My calling is to faithfully point these men toward the only true source of healing and lasting freedom—Jesus Christ. By fostering a culture of brotherhood, mutual respect, and servant leadership, I seek to help each resident build a life rooted in faith, sobriety, and purpose that extends well beyond his time at Josiah's Place.
