ZLCW SALAD LUNCHEON

The Zion Lutheran Church Women (ZLCW) cordially invites you to its annual Fall Salad Luncheon at noon on Thursday, September 7th in the Friendship Room at Zion on 4th.
Our guest speaker will be from the BeJe Clark Residential Center in Mason City, which provides secure housing for inmates awaiting trial or sentencing.
We hope that you can join us for a time of fellowship and learning about the needs of these individuals in our North Iowa community. Questions may be directed to Beth Ann Schumacher at Schumie54@gmail.com.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF KITS
It's time to start collecting supplies for the Lutheran World Relief Kits! LWR Kits are specifically designed to help people coping with poverty, disaster, conflict and more. Whether a kit helps someone to maintain good hygiene, care well for a newborn baby, keep education going during a crisis or learn a new vocation, LWR Kits provide dignity and hope in the direst situations.
We are accepting donations of the following: Personal Care Kits, Baby Care Kits, School Kits, and Fabric Kits. To learn about what to include and how to pack the kit, click the link below.

Zion Women
The women of Zion are active all year round with various missional projects! From quilting for Lutheran World Relief to knitting and collecting supplies for care kits, join the Zion women as they make a difference in hearts of others across the globe.
The Zion Women also have organized Circles, which are small groups that meet once a month for a study and assist with various needs throughout the church. If you would like to be involved in a Circle, please email the office at info@zionclearlake.org. Organized Circle meeting times are posted below.

Pastoral Care
We have two Member Visitation Teams that are involved in serving the elderly, those who are ill or those who can no longer make it to church services. Both teams have individuals that have a heart for people, building relationships and caring for others. These teams come together to visit those in hospitals, nursing homes and hospice. We offer prayer, conversation and communion to those interested and share the love of God with them.

This team offers communion to those who can no longer make it to church services. Those serving would share communion with these individuals once a month.
