BLANKET SUNDAY

March 19 • Sunday

Blanket Sunday will be Sunday, March 19th! Come enjoy the quilts made by our quilting committee and pray over them before they are sent to various countries through Lutheran World Relief!

These quilts are highly prized by their recipients and are used for coverings on cold nights and as makeshift tents for protection. They become beds for those who have none, backpacks, totes and swaddles for babies. Lutheran World Relief sends them to the people who need them most.

You can aid this project by donating money for shipping costs! The average cost to ship one quilt is $2.25. Give today and help aid the warmth of this project!

HERO MAKER'S MEN'S GROUP
 AL'S SMALL GROUP

2nd and 4th Thursday • 7:30 AM • Zion on 4th • 112 N. 4th Street

This men's group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7:30am to 8:30am. While this group has been meeting for awhile now, they recently felt led to open the group up to any man who wants to attend!

Typically, they watch and discuss an episode from The Chosen, but they are currently waiting for the third season of the show to be released. In the meantime, they will likely watch a RightNow Media study by Kyle Idleman. There is no homework for this group.

Zion Women

The women of Zion are active all year round with various missional projects! From quilting for  Lutheran World Relief to knitting and collecting supplies for care kits, join the Zion women as they make a difference in hearts of others across the globe.

The Zion Women also have organized Circles, which are small groups that meet once a month for a study and assist with various needs throughout the church. If you would like to be involved in a Circle, please email the office at info@zionclearlake.org. Organized Circle meeting times are posted below.

Joy: 3rd Monday of the month at 9:30 AM
Peace: 3rd Monday of the month at 2 PM
Praise: 3rd Monday of the month at 7 PM
Hope: 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 AM

Pastoral Care

We have two Member Visitation Teams that are involved in serving the elderly, those who are ill or those who can no longer make it to church services. Both teams have individuals that have a heart for people, building relationships and caring for others. These teams come together to visit those in hospitals, nursing homes and hospice. We offer prayer, conversation and communion to those interested and share the love of God with them.

Visitation Team
This visits those in hospitals, nursing homes and hospice. We offer prayer and conversation are are looking for people who are interested in sharing the love of God with them.

Communion Visitation Team
This team offers communion to those who can no longer make it to church services. Those serving would share communion with these individuals once a month.

If you are interested in serving, please contact Al Berge at alanb@zionclearlake.org.
