Live In The Light!
What does it mean to live in the light? As Christians, we are called by God to let our light shine so that others may have an encounter with God because they see Him in our lives and actions. If we are living in the light, we are living in the presence of God. At Zion we believe that when we are baptized, the Holy Spirit begins to work in us. When we reaffirm our baptism when we are older, it is an outward expression of what God has done in us, therefore we are showing the light of God. When we believe and are baptized, we are committed to live in His light. We invite you to join us on August 1st for Baptism in the Lake. Start living in the light as you live out your baptism.
1 John 1:7 “But if we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin.” (The Living Bible)
