Why Bel(I)eve? // Week 4

May 18, 2025    Pastor Jason Miller

Notes can be taken in the notes section of this sermon.

In our journey of faith, we often forget that we have a Heavenly Father who longs to hold us close. This powerful message reminds us that God's love isn't conditional on our perfection - He meets us where we are, in all our brokenness. The imagery of a grandfather holding his granddaughter beautifully illustrates God's tender care for us. We're challenged to rest in this unconditional love, knowing that while God accepts us as we are, He loves us too much to leave us there. This ties into the famous verse from John 3:16, emphasizing God's sacrificial love. As we grapple with tough questions about God's goodness in a world of suffering, we're encouraged to seek both emotional connection and intellectual understanding in our faith. By loving God with our whole selves - heart, soul, mind, and strength - we can deepen our relationship with Him and better represent His love to the world around us.
