Riley Brinkman
Iquitos, Peru
Riley began going on mission trips in high school and always had a passion for serving the “least of these” across every nation. Her passion was only fueled when she decided to pursue a nursing degree.
She began working as an RN right after graduation in 2017 until the fall of 2018 when she followed the stirring within her heart for the people of Iquitos, Peru. For the first two years living in Iquitos, she worked on staff at a local church. This time of transition allowed her to learn the culture, the people, the language (Spanish) and even the healthcare system. Being exposed to the shame-based system she was passionate to show something different: action that is moved by COMPASSION.
She is currently focusing on starting a medical ministry and community education program.
