Serving in Peru

Nelton & Bethany Noriega

Iquitos, Peru

Nelton and Bethany Noriega serve in Iquitos, Peru.  Their heart is to reach Iquitos through children and their families.  They have started Hidden Creeks Bible Camp and Genesis  Church. Together with their church, they are literally changing Iquitos one day at a time as they introduce others to God. We are honored and excited to be a part of what God is doing in the Amazon!

Lucas Kirchhoff

Iquitos, Peru

Lucas has been serving full time in Iquitos, Peru for the past 5 years as a missionary at Genesis Church. Lucas runs a transition and discipleship home, where young men with addictions or struggles can find restoration and a future in a new life with Christ. He is currently building a home on the camp grounds which will provide opportunities for his disciples to learn work ethic and become successful men and followers of Christ. He is also the Production Director at Genesis Church, serves on the Worship Team and is a small group leader. Lucas is passionate about seeing youth restored and transformed into who God called them to be.

Riley Brinkman

Iquitos, Peru

As a licensed registered nurse, Riley is called to the hurt, sick, broken and bleeding and to provide a pathway of healing both physically and spiritually.  The nursing ministry is new and Riley has been excited to see where the Lord is taking it. Most recently a nursing office/“clinic” has been opened. In a city with a broken medical system, this new ministry will serve as a doorway for people to experience the love and compassion of Jesus.

Riley is currently stateside for a year to research next steps of running this medical ministry. She will be involved in training/equipping programs, fundraising, and making contacts to go back and begin a full time ministry.

Katie Pereiras

Iquitos, Peru

Katie serves with International Messengers in Iquitos, Peru. In 2023 she went through the training program in Montana, where she learned about challenges of ministry, problem solving, discipleship, support raising, etc. She moved to Iquitos in May and married David in June. Their son Wyatt was born this last July. After gaining experience in a local hospital, Katie is opening an office in the church where she can use her nursing skills to care for those both in and out of the church. David works at Genesis Church as the boss of operations. He oversees administrative staff as well as guides seven cell group leaders. His 14 year old brother lives with them to be discipled and spared from the lifestyle his brother endured.
